Building Events
How anyone can build, edit and test events in their own world, and make them ready for the server.
On GamerX.mp anyone can build and save events. Only the creator can edit or delete theirs, and anyone can load and play any saved event (see events).
/beh (or /buildeventhelp) shows the building guide. Each type's own commands: /buildderbyhelp, /buildlmshelp, /buildctfhelp, /buildsiegehelp, /builddmhelp.
The build menu
/buildevent (or /buildmenu) opens a clickable menu.
- Not building yet: pick the type to build (Derby/Sumo/BloodRing, LMS/Hunger Games, CTF, Siege, Death Match), or Edit one of mine for a list of your events.
- While building: the type's settings with their values on the left (click one to change it), and on the right what you set where you stand (teleports, flags, checkpoints, team spawns, parked cars, the preload spot). Camera opens the fly camera: fly to where the camera should be, look at what it should show, and press ENTER (or F) to save both. JUMP cancels, and either way you're back where you were. Then Create (or Save), Hide or Stop building.
- The checklist stays at the bottom of your screen the whole time you build: everything still missing is red and turns green once it's there. When everything is green it says ready to save.
- Hide the menu (or press ESC) to walk to the next spot, then
/buildeventagain. Every button does what typing its command does.

Your own world: edit and test
In your own world (/myworld), /lde <event> loads any event there, whatever the server's event is doing. You see its objects and cars, plus labels at its teleports, positions and team spawns.
- Yours can be edited straight away: the setting and
/add...commands work on it./saveeventsaves it and loads it again with the changes. - Test it for real:
/eventjoins,/stestarts it (one player is enough),/eeends the round. The map stays loaded for more editing;/eeagain unloads it. Tests give no prizes and aren't counted anywhere. - Players in your world see your test and can join it.
- When it's good,
/eventreadymarks it ready for the server. Only ready events come up in the rotation, can be voted for (/evote) or are loaded with the server's/lde. New maps start as not ready./eventreadyagain takes it back.
Settings every type shares
One command each, whatever the type: /seteventname, /seteventmode, /seteventweather, /seteventtime (the hour), /seteventtimelimit (seconds), /seteventzlimit, /seteventweapons, /seteventskins, /seteventmarkers, /seteventcreator, /seteventobjectset, /seteventholdset, /seteventpreloadpos, /seteventcampos and /seteventcamlook. Each one runs that type's own command, so the classic's commands below still work too.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/seteventname | - |
/seteventweather | - |
/seteventtime | - |
/seteventtimelimit | - |
/seteventzlimit | - |

/eventready | Your event: ready for the server's rotation, votes and /lde (IN ROTATION), or back to TESTING ONLY: /eventready [event] |
Team spawns and cars
- CTF, Siege and Team Death Match maps can have up to 10 spawns per team:
/addeventteamspawn <red/attackers or blue/defenders>,/deleteeventteamspawnand/gotoeventteamspawn. Players start at a random one of their team's. - Every type except Derby, Sumo and BloodRing can let players **spawn a car with
/carmenu**:/seteventcarmenu 1turns it on and/seteventcars <models or names>picks the cars (up to 12; none = Infernus, Sultan, NRG-500, Pony, Patriot, JetMax, Maverick, Leviathan, Vortex). - Derby, Sumo and BloodRing are types of one map:
/eventtypespicks which of the three a map can be loaded as.
The building flow
- Enter building mode for the type:
/buildderby,/buildlms,/buildctf,/buildsiegeor/builddm. - Use the
/set...and/add...commands to set it up. - Save it as a new map:
/createderby,/createlms,/createctf,/createsiegeor/createdm. Everyone sees "NAME created the "MAP" ... Event." - To change a map later, load it in your own world (
/ldethere), change it and/saveevent. Or/editevent <name>from anywhere.
Every event type can have cars: /addeventcar, /deleteeventcar and /gotoeventcar.
Most maps use a streamed object set for their objects (see objects): the event loads and unloads it by itself.
Derby, Sumo and BloodRing

Battle Royale
Build it in your own world (/myworld) with /buildroyale (or /buildbr, the BATTLE ROYALE button in the build menu, or /setlmsmode 3 while building an LMS). In the build menu (Y):
- Waiting spot: where players stand until the drop.
- Corner 1 and Corner 2: stand at two opposite corners of the map: that square is the play area (at least 60 m a side). Players drop over it, the storm and the crates stay inside it, and nobody can leave it.
- + Crate spot (N): press N wherever a crate can stand. Each round a random share of the spots get a crate (or a vehicle), and airdrops land on them too, so spread them over the whole map.
- Match length: 5 to 30 minutes (15 by default); more time means more storm stages.
- Markers are hidden by default (players don't see each other on the map); you can turn them on.
/createevent saves it; it needs both corners. See battle-royale for how it plays.
