The server's bots

GamerX has bots (NPCs) that drive their routes around San Andreas forever, like the classic's. Some drive GTA's own road network at random, such as the SF Taxi Driver who wanders round San Fierro. /npcs lists them, and you can go to one from the list.

Your own NPCs

Every logged-in player can create and control their own NPCs, give them a personality and talk to them.

CommandWhat it does
/npc create <Name> [skin]A new NPC next to you (it is kept: /npc spawn brings it back)
/npc spawn <Name>, /npc listYour saved NPCs
/npc despawn <Name or all>, /npc delete <Name>Send one away, or delete it
/npc follow, guard, stop, come, wander, tpOrders
/npc enter [driver], exitGet in or out of your car
/npc goto <place or marker>, teleport <place or marker>Walk or jump to a teleport place or your map marker
/npc drive [place], cruiseDrive your car to your marker, or round the roads
/npc attack <player>Fight a player
/npc weapon, skin, health, armour, god, fightChange your NPC
/npc anim <dance, sit, wave, lay, handsup, cheer, smoke, laugh, chat, lean, crack, stop>Animations
/npc say <text>, /npc personality <text>Make it talk, or give it a personality

Put a name first to order one NPC (/npc guard Bob), or leave it out to order all of yours that are out.

What they do

Talking to your NPC

Say its name in chat near it, for example "Bob, follow me" or "bob what do you think of LV?". For 45 seconds after, it hears you without its name. Orders in speech are understood straight away; anything else is answered in character by an AI, using the personality you gave it.

NPC paths

You can record your own route and have your NPC drive or walk it round and round.

  1. Type /npcpath record <PathName> and drive or walk your route. A path is either all driving or all on foot.
  2. Type /npcpath stop at the end. End where you started, facing the same way, for a smooth loop. (/npcpath cancel ends without saving.)
  3. Have an NPC out, then type /npcpath play <PathName> [NPCName]. A driving path gets a new vehicle of the model you drove.
  4. /npc stop (or any other order) takes it off the path.

/npcpath list shows your paths and /npcpath delete <PathName> removes one. /npcpath help shows the steps.
