Races

Racing on GamerX.mp: voting with GXT, joining, prizes, and building your own races.

EventsUpdated 2026-10-31 18:57Suggest a change

Races run one at a time and start automatically every few minutes. Anyone can build races, and anyone can load and start a saved race.

Voting with GXT

Put GXT on the races you want, any time (1 GXT per vote):

Who gets the GXT

A race's GXT is shared in turns of 7: creator, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 1st, 2nd, 3rd place. For example, 15 GXT gives the creator 3, 1st place 6, 2nd place 4 and 3rd place 2. The creator is paid when the race loads, the places when they finish. Prizes nobody wins stay on the race for next time.

Building a race

/buildrace opens the race build menu. It is the races' own menu, apart from the events' /buildevent. Pick New race, or Edit one of mine. The settings are on the left: name, vehicle, checkpoint size, air race, object set. Spots set where you stand are on the right: the start line, a new checkpoint, and moving, going to or deleting the selected checkpoint. Then Save, Hide or Stop building. The checklist at the bottom of your screen shows what's still missing in red, turning green as you add it: name, start line, checkpoints, finish. Hide the menu (or press ESC) to drive to the next spot, then /buildrace again. The commands below still work as well.

Anyone can build races, and only the creator can edit or delete theirs. /buildhelp shows the building commands.

  1. /buildrace enters race building mode. The start line is where you stand.
  2. Drive the track and type /cp at each checkpoint. The last one is the finish.
  3. Set it up: /setracevehicle <Model> (0 = racers bring any vehicle), /setraceobjects <ObjectSetName>, /cpsize <Size>, /airrace for checkpoints in the air.
  4. /saverace <RaceName> saves it.

Editing checkpoints: /scp <Number> selects one, then /dcp deletes it, /rcp replaces it with where you are, and /mcp <X> <Y> <Z> moves it. /grcp <Number> goes to one, /setracestart moves the start line, and /clearrace clears them all. /editrace <RaceName> edits one of your races, /stopbuild leaves without saving, /deleterace deletes one (it can't be undeleted), and /rfrt resets its record.
