Politics and Motions
How the players change the game: party leaders propose motions, and every registered player votes yes or no.
GamerX.mp has no admins. The server governs itself: parties made up of players run its politics, and changes to the game are decided by votes.
Motions
A motion is a proposed change to one game setting.
- A party leader proposes it with
/propose: pick the setting, the new value, and a reason. - Every registered player votes yes or no with
/motions(one vote each). You can also vote on the website: gamerx.mp/account/politics. - When the vote closes, the motion passes if at least 70% of the votes cast are yes, and enough players voted.
- A motion that passes changes the setting straight away. Results are announced in chat and on Discord.
Each party can put forward a limited number of motions per 2-week term.
