/editsandboxset
Opens a SandboX set file in editing mode to build on it; with no file name, starts a new set
What it does
Opens a set in editing mode, where you build it. Works only in your Player World (/myworld).
| You type | What happens |
|---|---|
/editsandboxset NAME | Loads NAME.txt for editing. If it doesn't exist: "SandboX file NAME.txt does not exist." |
/editsandboxset alone | Starts a new, empty set. You first choose the alliance type (Free for All, 2/3/4 Teams VS, Squads by Size) |
| Either, with a set already loaded | Asks to exit the loaded set first ("You must unload your active SandboX file.") |
In editing mode the screen shows SandboX Editing Mode in the top right. Hold the walk key to see the SandboX Editing Chart (what runs at the start, and each condition with the functions it calls). Calls never run for you while you edit: test in active mode.
Then use /function and /condition to build, and /savesandboxset to save. You can't leave your world while editing.
